How to Prepare for Your Body And Intimate Waxing Appointment
Avoid sports or activities that cause sweating or skin irritation at least 3 hours before your wax (e.g. swimming, cycling, hot tubs, exercise).
Avoid caffeinated drinks for 3 hours prior to your appointment, as caffeine can increase skin sensitivity.
Do not trim or shave the area before your wax.
If you have recently trimmed or shaved, please wait at least 3 weeks before booking, as the hair must be at least 1cm long for effective waxing.
Aftercare: Looking After Your Skin Post-Wax
- Bring a clean shirt to change into after your treatment.
- Avoid showering for 24 hours. Your first shower should be lukewarm, not hot, to prevent irritation.
- Do not apply perfume, deodorant, or fragranced products to the treated area for at least 24 hours.
- Avoid exercise, hot tubs, saunas, or any activity that causes sweating/skin irritation for 48 hours.
- Avoid sexual activity for 24 hours after intimate waxing.
- Schedule your next appointment every 5 weeks for best results.
- Exfoliate once a week with gloves or a sponge and apply the hydrating cream provided 1–2 times weekly to prevent dryness and ingrown hairs.
